Looking for a B.Sc. or M.Sc. thesis in Geosciences?

Bachelor’s and Master’s theses in my group focus on volcano seismology, environmental seismology, array seismology and rotation seismology. I am also open to define a interdisciplinary thesis that bridges to e.g. geology, mineralogy, volcanology, geography or geochemistry.

We analyse seismological datasets of (recent or ongoing) volcanic eruptions, geysers, subglacial floods, helicopters, trains, wind or wind turbines and other natural hazards and test new instruments and methods. Topics can range from methodological work to more applied work, from earthquakes to tremor or oceanic noise, from seismic networks to arrays to rotation sensors. Your own data collection in the field is possible for some topics.
