BBC filming at Strokkur

I spend 4 days at Strokkur with a team of people from BBC, True North and Ozzo Photography to shoot a BBC documentary. Òli from Ozzo Photography and myself recorded some high speed camera footage from the blue bulge that forms before the eruption starts. We recorded the eruptions and blue bulge from the air using a drone and slow motion camera to understand how the bubble rises towards the surface in the conduit. It has been a lot of fun and I am looking forward to see the final product. The film will probably air in early 2022.
